If ever you've wanted to be a land owner, but not been too keen on the fact that it costs an arm and a leg, then this delightfully silly, yet nevertheless legitimate title deed is the answer. And of course it makes a great and original present. The title of Laird means land owner, it's a title that can be used by men or women. This title document will certify that you (or the lucky recipient if you're feeling generous) will become a genuine land owner of a part of the Glencairn estate in the Scottish Highlands, i.e. a 'Laird of Glencairn'. You'll receive a registration code, which you register online or by post, and then an official title certificate and a 'Proof of Title' card. Once you've registered, you are welcome to visit the area where your land is located, where you can pace your boundaries (which admittedly won't take long as each plot of land only measures 1ft Square). The area of Glencairn is near to the oldest Stone Age site in Britain - the Grey Cairns of Camster, as well as the Long Cairn of Camster which was used for many centuries as a burial chamber for the first Highland Clan Chiefs.
